Fries

Fries are allumette-cut deep-fried potatoes. They can also be called French fries, chips, finger chips, frites, hot chips, steak fries or potato wedges, depending of the country.

Fries are eaten  as part of the lunch or as a snack. They are served hot and either crispy or soft. Fries appear on almost every menu of restaurants. Fries are usually eaten with ketchup, vinegar, tomato sauce and mayonnaise. They are also really salted.

There are a few variations to fries, like carne asada fries. They are from Southwestern United States. Fries are covered with carne asada, cheese, guacamole and sour cream. In the United Kingdom, there are cheese fries. In Chile, there is a dish called chorrillan, wich consists in a plate of fries topped with slices of meat, sausages, fried eggs and fried onions. It is a dish to share because of its large size. Poutine is a famous dish made with fries. Chile fries are fries topped with green chile peppers , popular in New Mexico.

In conclusion, I would like to eat carne asada fries. It seems to to be very good. I like poutine and I have even written a post about it earlier.
